Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) is a public sector autonomous organization, established under an Act of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in May 2011, with the mandate to lead the digital transformation of the province. KPITB is dedicated to the promotion of Information Technology (IT), IT-enabled services (ITES), and IT-enabled education across both the public and private sectors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Since its inception, KPITB has played a pivotal role in implementing the Digital KP Policy, focusing on areas such as e-governance, cybersecurity, digital skills development, smart government, and ICT-based innovation. Through targeted initiatives, the board has transformed government service delivery, introducing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in public sector governance.
KPITB's impact extends beyond governance. It has made significant strides in digital inclusion, ICT business development, and youth empowerment by providing employable digital skills, promoting tech startups, and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship
